No longer that price. Try $12.00 not counting tax.
No test of food very bad but also expensive plz don't go west of money
No
Yes. But not drastically.
I grew up eating Indian food in Singapore and Malaysia. This is terrible food. Food came out very quickly and did not seem fresh but reheated. We ordered shrimp jalfreezi and it seemed like they used jarred or canned tomato sauce with some Indian spices thrown in, and the shrimp and vegetables had just been boiled in it instead of seared first. Very watery and tomato-y. The aloo baingan also did not seem fresh but was a bit better. But both dishes had a strange metallic taste. It tasted like they had cooked the dishes and stored them in the fridge in metal pots, which caused some metal taste to leech into the food. Garlic naan was soaked in oil or butter and very greasy. Onion kulcha was better and probably the only nicely prepared item we ordered. Food left us feeling bloated and with the metallic taste in our mouths. Would not recommend.
Best Indian food in the state! Delicious buffet choices.
I get to eat here a lot since I work nearby. I must say their service is always good and they keep the place well organized constantly. Prices are reasonable and they serve big portions.
Easiest 5 stars ever! Maharaja is an excellent lunch and dinner place. Reasonably priced and delicious
Great price for lunch buffet. Vegan and vegetarian options.
I love this place, but I give only 1 stars because of serving size. In order to get a full meal, I have to order 2 of each entrees. Knowing this, I asked if I could order a larger portion and pay an upcharge. Instead of providing a better order, I paid for an additional order of more sauce and rice WITH NO ADDITIONAL MEAT, WHICH IS WHAT I PAID FOR. I ordered an order and a half of goat curry which had 5 pieces of meat in both (3 of which were bones) and the rest sauce. Please do better, and stop filling plates with Bell Peppers, Onions, Rice and sauce to give the impression that you are providing full orders at this price. Ridiculous.
Definitely not a place you would like to try if you are looking for true Indian food. Some of the items were not just edible.
The saag and makhani were rich and creamy, with generous portions of paneer. Best Indian food restaurant I've tried in Fort Worth.
Surprisingly great vegetarian options! Good food and great service
This place is awesome, the food was good i ate untill i couldn't no more .
Watery food that should be thick and creamy. Absolutely no spice and definitely not spicy. Would never recommend.
I love this place I got Uber eats from here and thought it tasted so good and I also recommended it to my sister so we went to eat there together they were nice the inside of the building was clean and the food was amazing, took a bit for the food to arrive but I’d rather the food take a bit to taste 100 times more better than it come out in 5 minutes tasting bad. All around I will come here more often and will keep telling people to eat here as well.
Yesterday was the first time we went to this magnificent restaurant. But It is no doubt not the last. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the efficient service, with the exceptional meal and fine drinks and with the comfortable payment. We will no doubt come back in a short time.
I've been to this restaurant before. Today would have been our 2and time.. we got there 10 minutes before 2. 6 people... and the lady says you gotta get all your food the first time you come up. Mind you, the hours on Google show 230. Not a way you wanna do business... but then again, its Indian people like these that screw it up for the rest.
Some of the best Indian food I’ve had. My husband refuses to eat Indian, but I forced him to tag along with me last month. The buffet lured him in and he tried it. Now we both go every week or so. Some people complained about the service. I’ll admit, one of ladies isn’t super friendly. But with food this good, I didn’t care. The owner is very nice. My five stars are for him and his amazing food.
Kind of disappointed I can't lie. I had it delivered cause this the new normal. Food was o.k. wish I could've had better news, I hate talking bad about businesses. I probably will try again cause sometimes it's just a bad day. But give it a try and let me know sorry I didn't take pictures.
The food is pretty good. It's nothing special but I like it. The service is ok too. It just seems like things could all be a little bit better. Not a bad place though.
Love their food. Excellent variety of dishes
I had a great time in this place. We enjoyed the fantastic ambience and the meals. The staff were super personal. I am glad we eventually decided to try this restaurant.
First time having Indian food and it was amazing. Excellent chicken samosas. Super friendly service.
Maharaja is a classic place for traditional Indian dishes, always tasty, sometimes Exotic- like today- and service with a gracious smile. You'll enjoy the quiet atmosphere, perfect for conversation over a great meal.
All i have ever had here is the buffet, an dth food has always been good and filling. The staff is friendly and your drinks never run low. A little too dark for my taste but the food makes up for it.
I absolutely live their lunch buffet. And the mango delight is too die for
I get take out from here a lot. LOVE THEM. Always delicious and accurate.
Very beautiful and great food! I enjoyed it and will definitely be back!
The menu and service were ahead of my expectations. We really enjoyed the vibes of this restaurant. Amazing spot to take the family out for lunch.
This is the only Indian restaurant in Tarrant county my wife loves.
The restaurant has been a favorite of our family for over 12 years. We moved away but make it a point to come here when we are in town. Never disappoints. Today's buffet was delicious and the sweetened warm chai was a treat.
The food very good. The staff friendly and the atmosphere nice
Love this place. Best Indian buffet I've ever been to and I've been to many.
Well the review was nice so ordered biryani from there and they send rice and chicken curry mixed. It was sloggy and rice was stale.👎👎👎👎
Good food for a fair price. I've been here several times and it's pretty consistent. Nice choices in the buffet with 3 desserts.
Actually this is 0 star rate. Please don’t waste your time to drive to this place. No lights outside so dark. No air ventilation system. And its so smelly like expired curry. And there is only one lady who take your orders no smile nothing. If you want to have indian food either cook by your self or go to irving you will have 100 of restaurants. It’s really worth of driving 30 min than getting this horrible experience. I am gonna complain to USDA.
I don't have the opportunity to eat Indian food often, and hadn't eaten at Maharaja in 15 years or so. Everything I tried from the buffet was great. The only thing I didn't care for was the green spinach dish. Most dishes were mild, but tasty!
It's a rare treat to eat in a restaurant where food is as good as this. What is especially good is on Sundays there is the buffet and they serve all kinds of good things.+ Sweet salad+ Spicy vegetable mix+ Spicy meat mix+ Vegetable rolls+ Type of chick pea casserole+ Type of Indian breadAnd for dessert, also accompanied with the buffet is:+ Plum cake balls+ Chilled coconut rice puddingAs for service, I never really gave it much thought. There isn't much to it but you come and stay for the food and that's for certain.
So delicious and the chai is hot and comforting. I've been looking for good Indian food for 2 years and this one takes the Cake after one bite. When you know, you know.
So much delicious food! I want to try it all. Traditional indian food. Spice was perfect.
I love this restaurant. As a vegetarian I always find options for every meal!
Pretty much the only food I order on Uber eats I love it so much.
Great service and great food. Its a bit small and feels like you can hear everyone in the restaurant talking when they aren't busy, but otherwise its great.
As always great food. Friendly people. Staple of Fort Worth. Everyone should support this local business!
Quality Indian food from a local Mom and Pops here in Fort Worth. I’ve been a loyal customer for years now. They’ve been consistent in quality over the years and even During this pandemic they’ve been feeding us even though they don’t have the normal business from catering , weddings and parties, but they’ve done it with same consistency of quality and tasty and great customer service. We are doing our part to support y’all we hope you guys can pull through. We are telling our friends and family to help support.
Wow this has to be the most delicious Indian food I have ever had! I’ve been trying to find a restaurant with amazing food and I finally found it it’s Maharaja! The staff was very friendly and my overall experience was great!
Me and my family always enjoy our experience here. My grandmother and mother both came down from Missouri and made sure that they at least come here once for the food. I loved exploring new cultural food and I was very pleased with every dish I tried. The food was nice, hot, and fresh. We usually come here for lunch which is a great time to go. Our waitress took great care of us while we were here. I will definetly be back again.
The food is always great as well as the service. We love the buffet because we can get a variety of foods we enjoy.
Last weekend I decided to visit some family in Forth Worth and they mentioned that Maharaja has some great food so we all decided to go. The service was very pleasant and all the food was flavourful and delicious! I definitely recommend going there!
No way! The servers are almost as bad as the food. I definitely would suggest this restaurant for anyone looking for Indian food in Fort Worth. Don’t waste your time here. Head over to Kings kitchen for great Indian food!
Very good food first place I had an Indian beer small family owned business let's support them
The food was very good, I'm giving it 4 stars because it's not the best, best food I've had. The place is clean and had a nice and almost romantic atmosphere. Buffet was worth the 10.00 dollars on the weekend.
For someone like me who comes from one of the Indian Ocean islands or someone who knows authentic Indian food, I would rate this as the worst Indian food, ever! The curry is watery, the biriyani is more like chinese fried rice and the tikka is dry,the samosa is nasty......I can go on and on. The ambience and service is OK but if you are looking to experience a real taste of indian authentic food, SKIP this restaurant.
